Dear Reddit Dyslexia community, I’m going for a dyslexia evaluation tomorrow and I’m TERRIFIED. Pls help.

You got this, and it's natural to be nervous. Do your best remember, this can only help you! If you are diagnosed with something, it can only help you understand more about how you process information compared to people without a disability. If you are in school it can only help you receive what accommodations you deserve, so you are graded equally. If you are not diagnosed with something, after the test, discuss your concerns with the person reviewing the test to see if they have suggestions for specific situations. Regardless of the outcome, the result is for you, and will hopefully help give you some more understanding about yourself. Best of luck!
