Decorations or other improvements to increase your creativity

I see a lot of very slick, dark spaces on here that look carefully-designed but would not put me in a creative mental place. We are complicated creatures, and our output is a reflection of our mood. A lot of great work has been done by tortured people under toruous conditions, but if you don't have to do that to yourself why would you? I work best in the kind of place you'd want to spend an afternoon reading a book or an evening watching a thunderstorm.

Fairly minimal decor with as much cable management as possible, a couple potted plants, a nice rug and an easy chair, and lots and lots of natural (or close to 5,000k) light.

If you feel like you're in a rut, you might find it helpful to clean your studio well.

I recognize this does not meet most people's definition of "pimped up", but man it's a nice way to live and work.
