If anything, the main focal point of the lecture isn't about limits, it's about having your fantasy cross with others, or fighting alone. As Isagi says himself, Yuki intends to do it alone in a match outshining Isagi, Noah, and Kaiser. Yukimiya intends to fight on his own. Even seemingly solo goals like Shidou came off of a rebound, and Chigiri Reo and Nagi could've all passed to each other. No one will pass to Yuki, he's completely stranded on that team, and unlike Kunigami who will play with others, Yuki will not.

Every time a person has tried to play by himself in this manga, they've failed. Even if not momentarily, they will fail eventually. Like Rin, like Barou.
