[Discussion] Searching for tip in this game is like opening a Pandora's box.

While it may sound contradictory, I'm planning to write a guide pose in the near future.

Before you throw rocks at me, the reason why I'm doing this is to give opportunity to get enough amount of tips for their own level. While people can search previous post from this subreddit for useful tips, fair amount of them includes spoilers, especially for the first-timer (also, I don't like the tips saying "build X amount of Y, and then Z").

I'm going to break it down into multiple level with different level of spoilers:

  • Beginner: a general guideline and a set of mind that can be useful for the first timers that are continuously dying mid-scenario. This will include tips for scavenging, small portion of game system, and other small tips with the intention of having little to no spoilers at all.
  • Intermediate: more detailed breakdown of some game system as well as general guideline for strategy. It is expected to give some spoilers about the specific events of the game. However, I won't recommend this for any new player, but it will be suitable for players who have survived several times, and want to be more prosperous in their next attempt.
  • Advanced: The exclusive description of some game mechanics that are easily exploitable, and a structured "build order" for optimal development. Suitable for people who are already good at this game, but want to head for custom challenges. However, I may decide not to write up to this detail, since they can easily be found on other wiki.

Also, for Beginner and Intermediate guide, there will be no location-specific tips for scavenging (ex: required tools to bring, certain location for hidden item/interaction), since it is the WORST spoiler from my experience that ruins the entire gameplay.

However, I'll be drowned with reports and assignment for few days.
