Does AGS care?

I don’t think the war community plays the game in a very “game population friendly” manner.

They have ruled the roost since launch. AGS has had to reduce the rewards and benefits pertaining to terry control. They removed almost all impact of pvp to the pve aspects of the game.

Pvp players don’t care about fostering competition or boosting learning communities. They want to destroy their enemy and remain dominant. Player poaching is rampant and is most active after a ruling faction is “defeated”.

Worst of all, many pvp communities and companies have painted maps and now have stopped upgrading towns or starting town buffs for their constituents.

While I occasionally find pvp content engaging, the general attitude of pvpers in this game pushes casual players only to one spectrum of the game.

AGS has to push pve content because their pvp community is too sweaty and cutthroat to foster long term replayablity.
