I know people hate it and it goes against the subreddit CJ but I am loving firestaff / IG right now. I mained it at launch then became a healer main. After realizing I had a nearly BIS light armor setup from OPR crates sitting in storage I tried it out again. In OPR you can get 20 kills and dish out a ton of damage and harassment. You can flank up on muskets with burnout and shred them faster than they can fleche away. If you hit your ice spike you can swap to staff and heavy + fireball to surprise burst people, especially greatswords that think they can just bum rush you.

It's not used in wars but it's still a lot of fun to play in OPR at least for me
