Does anyone here take or know someone w/ pd who takes Sinemet (Carbidopa/levodopa)?

Well, you can always get more money. SSI/SSDI if you're younger. Or get by with Social Security, sort of.

Your reputation however.... Well, if a loved one out of the blue suddenly acquires a leather fetish, becomes a regular at the Folsom Street Fair, and starts hanging out with a VERY different crowd, then you'll want to maybe stage an intervention, and see if you can get a medication change. :D

And of course, any medication and increases dopamine, well, it may "enhance" spending on hobbies. Such as cutting down a tree, I needed a chainsaw, but didn't want a piece of crap like a poulan, or some craftsman made in china, carburetor rots/clogs out after 3 tanks of gas chainsaw, or takes an act of god to pullstart after it was broken in. No, I wanted a no bullshit, tool of destruction, that didn't weigh 15 pounds, fall apart after 30 hours of use, or vibrated the crap out of me so I jitter even worse. So of course, I ended up with a Husqvarna 445. Sure it was $300, but it cuts through trees like they're butter. 13K RPM, easy starting, easy on gas consumption, goes like a bat out of hell, is generally fun to use(for a chainsaw this is RARE), and is around 11 pounds juiced up and ready to go.

Feeding it premium bottle gas, well, I don't chop trees every day, so $4 a quart is no biggie, and is enough to wipe out a fair sized tree. Otherwise, what would I do with the other 2 gallons of gas? Bonefire? In the city, oh they'd love me then. :D

Then there's the various tree cutting tools. $30 here, $40 there. The $40 Fiskars axe, that thing in INSANE!

Then I got a craftsman cordless impact driver, 300 foot pounds! Lithium power, muahah! And a matching sawzall thing, a one handed one, which is kinda neat. And of course, an assortment of blades, carbide, diamond, bimetal.

And of course, a harbor freight cheapy $50 air compressor to blow the gunk out of my chainsaw, computer heatsinks, laptop internals, keyboards, shop fan, assorts stuff....

Ok, maybe the tooling is getting a little crazy. ;) But as an engineering weenie, and earlier as a tech, I got by with shit tools for way way too many years. Life's too short, and my effective years are probably gonna run dry 5-8 years down the road.

As for meds with sexual side effects, hey, cool! My sex drive has been GONE for 14 years. Gambling, unlikely to get too into it, I'm too much of a math geek to really be willing too lose much. The stock market, maybe. :D

But, who can say, I might get into Sand Rails, Jet Boats, or something expensive and dangerous at one point. Although it better be pretty damned fast before I freeze into an effing statue for good.
