My boss said they’ve never had snakes here; they put these up so homeless people wouldn’t camp

So much wrong with this. In most states private sales don't have to be registered. Its estimated that 380,000 guns were stolen in 2015. With the influx of new gun owners in 2021 I'm sure this number has only increased. Any criminal "worth their salt" planning on committing a crime witha gun won't be doing it with one purchased in their name. You think a someone who is already stealing, be it car hoping or burglary, is going to pass up on a big ticket item they can (usually) fit in a backpack? Seems easy to smash a window with a glock sticker on it and grab that g19 then take it to your dealer to score some dope. I know 3 people who have had their guns stolen and each was a glock in an unlocked glove box. Fortunately they practice actual gun safety now but that's 3 guns in the hands of criminals because of incompetence. If you ever buy a gun please don't advertise it on your vehicle or clothes and don't leave it in an unattended vehicle.
