He would have had to start a completely new life, no chance he could have played puppet master behind the scenes, the only way for him to survive would have been to completely break away from everything and everyone he knew.

No if no but, i dont give a shit if it wasn't his character, he knew he had to die, he knew his image had to be a sacrifice to invoke change. so maybe he got out and accepted his fate. maybe started writing and playing guitar. maybe he settled down and had a family, accepting that he did as much as he could as tupac. now maybe he wanders this earth helping one person at a time. who knows?
