Org drive 115/115 read write changed it for a Intel 530 480gb and it’s now 273/530read write. I know the limitations for Sata 3 is about 600mb read write max..

So I was thinking if I get the PCI connector and an M.to NVMESSD chip I should be able to bump those speeds up I’m hoping to at least around 700 or 900mb read write or better than the 273mb I get on write for the Intel 530 right now …. But I read the pcie onboard has limited 2xlanes only for thruput so QUESTION REMAINS “who knows the real write read speeds I can get from this? Any cheap nvme m.2 should have me higher than my current values I just want to know can I achieve 700+ mb read write this way or will it just still max out at the theoretical 600/700mb sata3 limit even tho it’s going to be being run thru the pcie mini 40pin adapter and it has a lane limit ?
