Agreed with Devin Bush. He has been lost for a good part of the season so far. I see he’s out of position and takes bad angles on an uncomfortable amount of plays. He’s almost always lagging coverage downs and slow to identify. I’m just hoping it’s rust but it is 4 games now.
Highsmith? I think his skill set would be better suited on the inside. He plays the run well but his pass rushing is abysmal. I don’t care at all about “pressures” or “hits”. That’s for fantasy. In the real world sacks are what count and he has none! Maybe flip flop Bush and Highsmith. I know Highsmith has a couple inches and maybe 10 pounds on Bush, but Bush is relatively the same size as James was and Bush is a lot faster than Highsmith. That might salvage both of their positions.
