Why does Japan love SEED/Destiny so much?

I am? I would like you to explain how. I have not been the one that has been, metaphorically, putting my fingers in my ears and screeching over criticism.

God you are so full of shit.

I explain how Kira was essentially forced into his situation in the first few episodes, and you basically repeatedly ignore what I say to basically shout "NU UH HE HAD OTHER CHOICES" and when I finally get you to come out with an ACTUAL context of that shows, where in the episode this "choice" was. You finally have the decency to reference something.

For starters, Kira was chained to the archangel because his friends decided they wanted to stay. You are making this out to be a false dilemma. He had choices.

You get it fucking wrong. They didn't choose to be there either! They were forcibly placed on the Archangel because they'd witnessed a top-secret military project. And then when their colony was destroyed, they had no where to leave them and no time to do so as they were under constant threat of attack.

The first opportunity they had to leave was 13 episodes later! Well after Kira had to make some difficult choices.

And I'll point out that Kira's hesitancy to fight Athrun resulted in him partially being responsible for Flay's father being killed. Which showed him and the audience that Kira's inaction would get people killed.

But no, you have this sanctimonious crap about "he had a choice."

And jesus, the rest of this "discussion" is atrocious. Hey, if you have to repeatedly say over and over again. "I'm using logic and you aren't" you probably are compensating for a lack of credibility.

You say you referenced the show, yet only ever made vague, declarations how Kira "doesn't try shit except when for plot convenience" etc etc. And then turn around, when I try to bring up specific moments in the show, and basically say I'm not providing any logic, context, or credibility.

Your points devloved further and further into, "You don't understand it because it is muh Seed."

Well they sort of HAVE to when you keep talking about events in the show that never happened and making vague assertions that are extremely hard to make a concrete argument against. All while railing over and over again about how I "have no credibility."

If you would like to actually start a discussion

Bull fucking shit. You were already accusing me by the third reply of me "idolizing" the show and not allowing anyone to point out any flaws in it.

From almost the very beginning of this argument you basically admitted that there was no discussion to be had because you'd falliciously declared me a "fanboy" who couldn't be argued with. That is so fucking hypocritical.

I'm completely done by this point, because you basically have no more points to make other than "You're a shitty person who has no logic." and that entire post you just made was 50% talking about ME as a person and not my argument in the slightest.
