The Gas Fuel Gouging least to (Jimmy Carter Era) 1970s lines at gas stations for fuel; not to mention we don't want the Government telling businesses what price they can or can't sell stuff for. This very quickly goes nowhere good.

Insulin prices are same thing, the Feds shouldn't set the price and from my understanding different types of Insulin cost different amounts; the expensive insulin is the "latest and greatest" and just requires less work on the diabetics part to track their insulin levels. Additionally, most Medical advances and new medicine comes from the US Health System (it's partially where the cost comes from; because other countries then "steal" the product and make a generic version in their own country); the US health system is also one of the fastest ones in the world (also where the cost is)
