The domain "1.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa" keeps being requested and messes with my internet.

  1. I read if I add 1.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa to the local DNS records that it would act like the hosts file and it would stop querying the pi so much. Editing the hosts file would show 127.0.0.1 localhost and adding the IP address plug a name would ignore the need to query it. I think. So if I did something like that with the local DNS records option in pihole, it would work the same way.

2A. So, these two options are tricky. I typed the first one "dig -x 127.0.0.1" and if I remember correctly, it didn't detect the device (I think).

2B. I typed the the second option "dig -x 127.0.0.1 @127.0.0.1" and something about the localhost popped up. I couldn't pull the text off it to put in the post because the wifi wasn't working on my router and the other router it wouldn't work either. I had a static IP set up that didn't correlate with that router. Thinking back now I could've taken a picture as I had it connected to my PC through a video-capture. I'm so sorry I didn't!
