I don’t think it’s right that Zach denied body shaming Dream

My issue is he said in his tweet they didn’t go hard enough in bullying Dream for his “face reveal”. And those comments he’s endorsing were all calling Dream ugly. I understand why Zach was upset but he could have responded in so many other ways. He chose to shame someone for his appearance and then doubled down by denying that’s what he was doing.

No matter how body positive we are we’ve all made harmful comments about people’s appearances, so I don’t expect perfection from anyone. But I do expect honesty if someone positions themselves as a role model and advocate, especially for young woman and girls who deal with high incidences of body dysmorphia.
