This guy is a complete and utter bellend.

However, he does have a point to a certain degree. I drive a 2014 350z. It's a very cheap (< £5k) 3.5L V6 2 seater car. I absolutely love it. I didn't buy it to show off, I bought it because it's loads of fun, and I always wanted one from when I used to play Forza etc growing up.

As I said, extremely cheap car, however, it looks much more expensive than it is. The amount of abuse I get from pedestrians and people driving cars costing 5x what mine does, is insane. I can just be sitting in traffic listening to the news, minding my own business, tootling about quietly, and I would say about 1 out of 5 journeys someone will shout something derogatory in front of their mates.

This country does indeed have a major problem with jealousy and hammering down the nail that stands out.
