Dont even have that many service stars with all my weapons combined.

JayBizzle - PS4

I'm #5 in HE Mortar Kills on PS4... I think about #22 worldwide all platforms...

At least according to BF Tracker... I have 4,333 kills with HE Mortar... This person has at least 4,700...

The only person currently tracked on BF Tracker with that many is Xbox One User - The BLK KING... but it's clear from looking at his stats that he hasn't played the game in quite some time..

So this is another user that isn't on BF Tracker... which is kinda disheartening to learn that BF Tracker apparently isn't tracking ALL the ACTUAL players..

Regardless I'm gonna sit speak my words.. and debunk a myth..

First off a DIRECT HIT from a HE MORTAR is NOT A ONE HIT KILL.... IT DOES NOT DO 100 DAMAGE...

THE MAX DMG HE MORTAR ever did to a SINGLE ENEMY with a SINGLE MORTAR SHELL was - 60 DMG.. This was way back maybe about 6 months or so.

Most people claiming to get insta-kills are actually killing ENEMIES that were already hurt very badly.

AIRBURST is Garbage... lesson number 2... Also SS seem to count towards both... for example I have 22 Airburst kills and 4,333 HE Kills... But when it will say I got the next SS when I hit 4,378 Kills... So it's counting the 22 Airburst kills together with my HE kills.

I only play Conquest.... Suez, Argonne are some of the best maps...

Destroy buildings, debris dmg, debris kills.. Hit a tank with one HE mortar and they typically start moving backwards... You can stop an agressive tank pretty quick, making them think twice about rushing forward.

I usually roll with actual grenades to get more dmg and kills.. But smoke is good at blocking yourself from appearing on the mini-map to other mortars and behemoths...

If there are lone snipers (on roofs) or groups of enemies then go for it... But always make sure that ENEMY MORTARS are your first priority... If you see an enemy mortar pop up, immediatly take it out..

You don't gotta sit and wait for the circle to get super small and accurate.. The first shot is the key.. The next 2-3 shots you can fire with quick taps of R2 and they will be relatively accurate.

Also the comment on here about "Clicking the minimap 4700 times" or whatever.. THAT's UTTER BULLSHIT.. You don't click on the mini-map in any way at all..

You switch to the mortar and then select a place on the ground to place the mortar... then the mini-map AUTOMATICALLY appears and you move the little "circle" to where you want to fire the mortar and press the R2 button... so yeah you don't click on any mini-map... dunno WTF you're talking about
