Do you think Dragonballs current course is good?

I think so long as Toei isn't in full control, DB always has a chance to be quality. It'll never satisfy everyone, but I'd rather have Toriyama/Toyotaro and the Dragon Room calling the shots than straight up just leaving it to Toei to give the fans "what they want", which will basically be edgelord villains, tryhard storylines and a constant need for there to be a "threat", regardless of how shallow it is.

I don't think we realize how good we have it right now, Dragon Ball could very, very easily become something they churn out yearly via a formulaic yet profitable formula, like it's sister series in Toei, PreCure.

People want Dragon Ball Kakumei, I get that, I'd love to have seen a fully realized ToP and a story arc featuring the GoDs, angels, multiverses etc, preferably taking place post-EoZ.

But for now, I feel they are definitely on the right track, backing off after Granolah, popping some big threats in the background and going back into Slice of Life mode while they, hopefully, come back with something legitimately compelling next time, ideally leading into an anime adaptation of everything post-ToP, preferably in the Shinitani style.

I just hate having to wait monthly for new content, that's really my big gripe. These stories would flow so much better and most likely would be more well-recieved if they were released weekly or bi-weekly.

But hey, can't always get what you want.
