Why Economists Are Shit At Poetry

Before I start this article, I have to place a small disclaimer: I fancy myself as an amateur economist and I'm great at poetry, however most economists are shit at poetry.

Recently, a poem of mine was posted to reddit. Commenters obviously started to circlejerk about it because they don't understand poetry. My poems are perfect.

Now, deflation doesn't scare me, however bad poetry does. I think that this is a troll, but you never know with "economists". I have to say, he fails to understand the point of a poem, which is to talk about darkness and edgy shit that sometimes rhymes. Fucking idiot.

Lets go back to Iamthelorus and his poem. To judge the quality of the poem, you can simply count up the amount of references to darkness, demonic imagery, and various religions or mythologies. Lets look at mine first.

I reference darkness, despair, agony, despair-agony, darkness, beasts and death in the first part of my poem. Pure quality.

He references a shill named "Paul K". 0/10. Fucking idiot.

I next reference: nightmares, fear, screams, rage, darkness, and a bitter taste overwhelming my mouth and smother me.

He references lies, which gets him half a point, however it's still in the context of econ, which makes him a fucking idiot.

Next I talk about demons making the world in their image. He talks about spirits, so I guess he gets a point. It should be noted, however that they are animal spirits, and they aren't making the world in their image. 1/10.

This continues for the rest of the poem. Fucking idiot.
