Why elo hell is fake

Got my PC now and my PyttIPanna.

I've dealt with similar people before and you are showing signs of it.
You are not infallible, your post is shit and a 75% of the voters agree with me (One not being me), 25% (One being your own) agrees with you.
No matter how hard you try to tell yourself, it is a redundant post that adds nothing of value.

One thing, bolding for emphasis. There is gonna be a lot of that here below.

At some point, it will devolve to this:

As for your post, let's break it down;

Elo hell doesn't exist. It is something typically used by a bronze player as an excuse for the reason why they can't get out of bronze.
Elo hell is a funny thing. We put this excuse on ourselves like we can never get out of it, yet part of the reason players can't get out of bronze is because of the placebo of elo hell, the very thing they are using as an excuse.

This part I have no qualms with. There is literally nothing wrong here. It is a fact and considered truth and there is theories that stand behind your words.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illusory_superiority

The root of someone who believes elo hell is ego.

Here is the problem I have with your post, where it all starts.

Ego causes so many problems. It makes the player believe they are better than they actually are.It makes the player play lazy. It often makes the player more toxic. Ego in general is very bad. You should go into a ranked game, or for that matter, a normal game too, with no ego.

You listed a lot of things on how ego can be bad but never how it can be good or molded to be something that is good. Instead you say that people should go into a game with the belief that people belong where they are and that they shouldn't even bother to try.

That is where my problem lies with your post, and then when people point out about you skipping out on the rest of the picture you FINALLY expand on the topic. But that expansion should had been IN THE MAIN POST IN THE FIRST PLACE TO AVOID THOSE COMMENTS TO START WITH!

That is why I hate your post. It's like the Walked Dead. A great fucking start but falls flat on it's face as it progresses and just continues to drag along with it's face still in the pavement.

I would like to refer to weldon who is a sports psychologist who talked about THIS SPECIFIC TOPIC ABOUT BIG EGO'S BEING BAD!

https://www.reddit.com/r/TeamSolomid/comments/49atmf/the_case_of_the_shotcaller/d0qnm2u

Big Ego's are not problematic in themselves, it's how they are APPLIED!
See when people are using excuses for their shitty elo, negative ego.
See when people believe when they are the best and won't give up until they are, that's positive ego.

How it's applied is what matters, not that it's bad or good.

What you also fail to realize is that you came to share a guide and yet you place all the focus on your own fucking words of advice and even then you are wrong as we've gone through above.

You could have talked about how to turn that negative ego into something positive.

But even then, you shouldn't be in focus. It should BE THE GUIDE WHICH YOU LINKED AND WANTED TO SHARE IN THE FIRST PLACE!

It will solve very many problems.

The wording here implies that it won't be the problems listed above, which it should say. A better sentence would be:
This will help solve the problems you might have above.

As for the previous reply:

They are all the same thing damn it. Ego does not suddenly change cause you pt it in a different scenario. The theories are consistent no matter what the context.

I am using league of legends as an example, im not saying ego isn't different for any game or in real life.

You are using league as an example yes that's true, but you fail to realize this:
You need to bring the theories of the concept up, how it works and how you can recognize it. If the reader fails to recognize what's affecting them, how can they even learn to deal with it?
It's like expecting a autistic kid realize that he is autistic and dealing it for himself when he doesn't even know what autism is in the first place.

And yet again, you don't even bring up on how to deal with it cause you are simply linking a guide.

What should be in focus of this post should be the GUIDE!
Not your wise words of wisdom which you have failed to realize sadly, NO ONE IS EVEN TALKING ABOUT THE GUIDE YOU LINKED; THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT YOUR WORDS OF WISDOM!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissistic_personality_disorder
You are indirectly placing all the focus ON YOURSELF instead of the guide.

Which you did poorly at. Corner of a picture.

Care to explain?

You bring up the basics yet fail to expand on it.

Elo hell doesn't exist. It's a placebo effect for noobs as an excuse for their lack of climbing.

Why is it an excuse in the first place?
What is this? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illusory_superiority, https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/what-would-aristotle-do/201207/stop-playing-the-blame-game)

Even just adding these links to your main post could had done so much and given you the, bolding for emphasis, YOU COULD HAVE ADDED SO MUCH CREDIBILITY TO YOUR POST!

If you have no credibility, NO ONE WILL LISTEN TO YOU.
For an example, see why person A who is ranked Diamond while person B is ranked Bronze has a hard time listening to person B's advice.
Same applies to Esports on why people certain people are hesitant to believing that a coach is good at his job cause he is at a lower ranking than his players.

But even then, most of those coaches tend to be bad due to using an excessive amount of buzzwords and only skimming the surface rather than going deep into the sea.
A real fucking pantsy.

Which should had been in the main post in the first place.

Just because you need an example to understand what I am trying to say doesn't mean everyone else does

It gives you credibility and gives people a chance to relate to your stuff, as in;
People believe that you know what the hell you are talking about. Which not many people do atm so you failed your job at doing what you came to do, help people.

You can only help people if you present yourself in such a way that you seem capable of helping them. Otherwise they are just gonna reject you.

That is why people have an easier time listening to higher ranked people when it comes to certain topics, they have credibility. See why certain guides on Lolking are well recieved DUE TO THEIR RANK ALONE RATHER THAN THE GUIDE ITSELF.

You might be, but you are horrible at writing about it.

Once again, care to explain?

You bring up the basics of the concept yet fail to expand on it due to your not having the basics down already. There is a lot of buzzwords but there is nothing to be learned.
You want to help people learn about Ego and get rid of the false mysteries about elohell but you don't follow the most basic of shit that allows you to do just that.

See the breakdown above I've done above.
But even then as I've stated so many times, THE FOCUS SHOULD BE ON THE GUIDE AND NOT ON YOU!

You comments are trying to pick apart my post and my reply's to other people. If you have a problem with my post, downvote, and be done.

I could yes, but my jimmies has been rustled.

Don't waste my time talking about how bad this post is when it clearly isn't.

EGO!
If you cannot realize your own, how can you help others realizing they have one themselves? Your post is shit and many are agreeing on that topic as shown by the votes and the people who are saying shit about you.

I'm trying to help people that struggle with ego in lol, not teach a psychology class about ego.

Your motives are sincere, I can see that. But you fail to realize that you are, bolding for emphasis again, YOU FAIL TO DO JUST THAT DO TO YOUR LACK OF CREDIBILITY AND HOW YOU PRESENT IT.

Again, go back to the example of Bronze guy teaching diamond. They are not inclined to listen due to the lack of credibility.
If you don't have the credibility in one way, try to back it up in another.

For example:
When talking about an effective build on a champion as a bronze guy, try to back it up on how the build is good, how it works and how it synergizes with the kit of a champion.

For a discussion example:

Tiamat + Youmuu's is core on Rengar since it adds more damage to his combo and amplifies his base damage along with his high scaling.

You will at lvl 9 deal a total of 150+100+0.7y+2.3x of damage, not calculating in W or Thunderlord's in this equation.
Not to mention that you gain more movement speed with youmuu's that allows you to take away a small part of the reaction time the warning provides on his ultimate, not to mention gives the Rengar a higher chance of reaching his target.

Take now a look above, the bronzie adds in math, he adds in synergy with Rengar's kit and how it can benefit him in more ways than simply damage.
He would add credibility to his post by simply speaking about the topic in a well formulated manner.

So, to summarize it:

  • Biggest thing is the lack of focus on the guide and more towards you (For some damn reason...)
  • You not knowing what you are talking about due to using a lot of buzzwords but never expanding on it.
  • You not having any credibility about what you are talking about.
  • That you fail to reaize your own ego when you are trying to teach other people about their own.

You can't expect anyone to take you seriously with these flaws above in your post.
