Elon Musk just fired an employee for correcting him

I can't tell if he's correct or incorrect, I do know he'll 99.9% have in his employment contract that discussions of this nature in social media or media in general is impermissible. If not, he'll have a sweet sweet lawsuit on his hands.

Seeing the twitter slop in handling things, he might actually have a nice lawsuit... but very likely not.

In any event, it's likely contractually related and likely not free speech and should be handled with whistleblowing... or forming a fun union.

Shit will really hit the fan when he learns engineering work in California and elsewhere isn't exempt unless those are "professional engineers [certified by the state]" which is enormously different from being hired as an engineer in an engineering capacity...All those +30-40 hour weeks he pushes on people to perform for free are supposed to be overtime.
