Ep 28: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (Part 3)

The big difference to me was the self awareness.

Pitr looked at his sheet, saw his skills, thought it over, and determined nothing on his sheet could help him to sneak in. But he wanted to try to see what happened. So for fun, he first rolled a real skill, stealth at default. After that failed, he then made the joke, well can I dance my way in? Which is a running gag of "Can I do this to do this?" that's reoccurring.

I get what you're getting at, but there's a huge difference between trying something legit, having no luck, making a joke with a skill, and failing horribly. And being completely not self aware, and just doing 'I'mma do this'.

Like I get where you're getting at. But seriously, re-listen to the episode. They talk about her uncharactistic choices and dumb choices all episode, which helped a lot after the halfway point. Even she jokes later on in the episode. "Yeah I'm playing with an IQ of 2", she's aware she's making dumb choices, and taking it in stride, which actually helped a lot for me.

But please don't just white knight, because that's the opposite of the 'shit on girl's for girl's sake.' Where anything a girl does is fine, because girl. Both groups I DM have a girl in it, and I don't treat them any different.

I have a hard time believing anyone who finished the episode can say she didn't do that at all, when they constantly reference it and acknowledge it.
