I suppose you misunderstood. My point of pointing out plunder is that it "matters less" since most people are in there to fuck around (which is what i'm gathering from this post), or to do the money mission (which is not the majority of players), or to level guns (majority)

Explain to me why you would be the definitive source on if a gun is good or not in a game with millions of players? Experimenting yourself then drawing a conclusion is called "anecdotal evidence". Anecdotal evidence is where you make a conclusion based off of what you see, even though you didn't see everything. A sniper, BY DESIGN, is not intended for close range. Anything is good close range if you can hit shots. The reasoning you gave is a poor justification for why the kar is "still kinda nice".
