Faint positive line then disappeared

Yeah I know people like to claim the blue dye bleeds and all that, but it’s actually evap lines that are occuring, not dye bleeding. evap lines only occur if there’s urine splash on it. So if you dip it into a cup with your urine instead of peeing on it you can guarantee you didn’t make an evap line and you can time out how long it’s in the urine more accurately (i think it’s normally 5 seconds depends on the test). Both times i’ve had faint lines like that I was 2-3 weeks pregnant, and if you were expecting your period on a normal 28 day cycle that puts you at 2-3 weeks pregnant at the day your period should start. I will say my faint lines actually got darker over time tho, but the test is not accurate to read after 10 minutes so that really doesn’t impact how likely it is that you are pregnant.

Also do you know your first pee of the day has the highest concentration of hcg ,the pregnancy hormone? So it’s always most effective to test with your first pee of the day. I would retest in a few days and if it’s still faint wait a few more days and test again.
