Falcons optimistic WR Julio Jones, who didn't practice Weds, will be able to play vs Rams on Sunday, per source. Not as promising for Sanu.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the team has a "more pessimistic tone" this morning on Julio Jones' availability against the Rams. Schefter did say the team plans to work him out at the stadium, but it sounds like Jones is trending toward inactive. Even if he does play, Jones could be just a decoy. It is tough to bench one of the best fantasy receivers in the league, but it looks like the correct decision this week. Taylor Gabriel could be in line for a big workload.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: In addition to boosting Gabriel’s workload, Atlanta will lean on their running backs more than normal. Devonta Freeman has out-touched Tevin Coleman 18.5-11.0 over the past two weeks and is secure in the lead role. Given the circumstances, Freeman could push past 20 touches this afternoon against a Rams defense that’s allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to the running back position over the past four weeks. Freeman is a solid option today, especially in full PPR.

...Hate to break it to you bud, but Julio doesn't look like he's in for a big day today.
