The other stuff at least has halfway reasonable explanations (IE plotbreaking Cauldron shit) but the Defiant rebrand was the most egregious thing because it only takes one Thinker and there goes the Truce, he did one of the worst imaginable things in the wormverse, only equal to the S9 crimes imo because its consequences would potentially break the world by ending the Truce, and he got rewarded for it with a new, better career, high tinker budget, more operative freedom and robot poontang, as well as still having the respect from his Armsmaster days and still being friends with the likes of Chevalier. At this point he's not even a Karma Houdini so much as a Karma Myrddin. The PRT gets some egg on their face, Taylor then decides to not add to it in order for the world to continue working for which they stab her in the back as often and as brutally as possible. The thing that gets me is that the corruption doesn't even make sense in a rational "Machiavelli" way, literally everybody in a position of power in the wormverse is traumatized, blind and petty. Fucking Coil was the most rational dude and he still invited Simurghed Glaistig Nilbog in his home to use as a red herring.
