As a travelling nurse who has waited sitting in her car for hours for a hotel room to be available to sleep, and had people yell at me to “go home and flatten the curve”, respectfully I disagree. The person writing this note should ALSO be self quarantining in which case they wouldn’t have noticed the travellers, unless of course we are assuming they are an essential worker. Regardless, shouldn’t we all minimize our exposure and not manhandle another persons windshield wipers? People are using this pandemic as an excuse to go on power trips unnecessarily. It’s one thing if you see someone actively wiping their hands on random items at a grocery store, it’s another if you see non-local license plates parked in a lot.
