Honestly, it seems like quite a few are having issues with their vinyl copy of Children Of God. I can't really speak for the vinyl release since I don't own a copy of it; however, I do own a copy of the Children Of God / Feel Good Now CD and it has it's own set of issues. The Children Of God remaster is plagued with surface noise, "pops", and "crackles". I've compared it to my copy of the Children Of God / World Of Skin CD and it did not have any of those issues. It seems as if they just ripped a vinyl copy of the original Caroline release and "remastered" it instead of using the master tapes. Feel Good Now seems to sound pretty decent but I don't have an original release to compare it to though. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed in this release and just hope future remasters don't have the same level of quality.
