I want to feel/think from someone else’s perspective so bad!

You sort of can, interestingly enough. If you can put yourself in their shoes enough to emulate some of their thought patterns, which is just a nerdy way of saying, internalise their values and beliefs (helps greatly if they're vocal and articulate), then you can start to become them, and by in turn, lose the part of yourself which you were clinging hold of so tightly, which spiritual people call the ego.

When you empathise with another person, or you respect them and want to get into their head, that is what everyone has to do. So when you see Elon Musk chatting away, don't focus on his ideas and what he's saying necessarily, focus on how he's feeling and thinking at that exact moment of giving the speech and emulate it by putting yourself in that position. Then suddenly you really are Elon Musk. It doesn't matter what your name is or what you look like.
