What is a product that if people found out how it was made they'd stop buying it?

Difference is, we didn't create silkworms so we can't guarantee how they work. Also Roombas aren't alive, nor can you guarantee that a danger response is not stressful to the insect.

Look bro, use all the silk you want, this type of argument has been going on for years, eg the lobster debate.

It boils down to this - can an insect feel pain like a human does? We aren't sure but that doesn't mean its okay to make them suffer.

Like I said earlier, I don't give a shit what products you buy or endorse, at the end of a day I don't lose sleep over silk worms. All I'm saying is the idea that insects infallibly cannot suffer is extremely naive and narrow minded.

Not to mention they are literally killed in the process, regardless of suffering.
