Have you never checked the OSCP subs? This is brought up every day. The course material for OSCP is about as outdated as it gets. Their fanboys brigade any post that shits on the cert, all the while why people continue to waste money on this now poorly proctored exam. I also bought the OSWP materials, but didn't even bother when I saw it was all WEP for their only wireless course, years after WEP is relavent. Have a look at their sub. You'll see some of the replies the OSCP guys give to people mentioning the outdated material, such as lifetime bans from OffSec, cert pulling, and other negative repercussions. Disgusting organization that has been allowed to rest on it's laurels too long. I'm a US pentester in Taiwan. OSCP is not a valued industry cert IMO.
