A Few Announcements:

while this might be a good idea in theory, I doubt that'd work in practice.

Not only would you have to convince everyone who is posting them to move to a different sub, you'd also have to link it in such a way that everyone will see it.

I agree, which is why I specified 'possible solution'. It may, it may not.

And the sidebar won't be enough. I mean let's be real, only a small minority would even look at that, let alone go there.

That is a problem on most subs, yes.

Another problem is that I'm not really a fan of actively splitting the community (even though some of it is happening right now).

No idea. As I mentioned, I don't visit this sub enough to see it. Why is it happening?

There are a few artists here who do fanart for a living (or at least as a financial support). Should we really discourage those people from promoting their work, just because they're lewds?

I am not suggesting that. I have no problem with fan art or, despite how it may seem, with hentai; but insects, rape and lolicon are pushing the boundaries of normal behaviour. This sub appears to be a living stereotype of a 'weeaboo'. (that is the appropriate vernacular I think.)

As a side note to that, the reason I 'ignored' one of those whom were posting those images was because most of their history consisted of Guro posts...
