Free Talk Friday

north londoner in the pacific nw needing to vent.

i am about as pro wenger as one can be. I can remember the graham days but in all honesty i was pretty young - wenger has been my crux at the club. i love the man. hes my second father.

but it's getting to that time. i've never been close to the wengerout club, and im still not. i want him to stay for at least the remainder of the season.

But!- I fucking hate his tactics against big clubs. Im still licking my wounds from bayern. it's the same shit. we play like the lesser team, we do it against prem clubs as well. we've beeen doing it for fucking years and it drives me fucking bananas.

while city under pep have a god damn shite defense, at lease they're trying to be the big dominant scary team. i have no doubt out team is class, i rate the team wenger has put together immensely - i wont say we're best in the league, but i wouldnt say chelsea, city, utd are necessarily any better also.

i just fucking hate going into big games acting the underdog. its the same shit. why are we sticking 10 men behind the ball for only the big games. barce/real/bayern etc dont do that - they stick to their game, they play with arrogance.

i would say the blame rests on the players as much as aaW, but its easy to see that we line up differently ((to an extereme level) against teams we're the underdog in.

idk drunken lil rant here. i love the team. i love aw and want him to succeed with us. he means a lot to me and a love the man. im not close to saying we should fire him, but i cant say that games like bayern (after many years of the same tactics ) dont hurt.

while my love for the club will never wane. my love for wenger will never wane either. but its gettting close to a time where we might need a freshen up a little.

notsure how much sense that shite made, bayern game still hurst me. wish youall a hgappy friday. havef un
