I see you've never met a Mexican futbol fan (aka any Mexican). Every bit as crazy passionate about the sport as Nigerians, or anyone else for that matter. Just as bonkers as it gets, and it doesn't matter if the population is around half of Nigeria's either. You're belittling something very close to the hearts of many, and I know Nigerian fans (my building's security actually so I talk to some of them frequently enough) and Iwobi hardly has a fraction of the respect and admiration as Vela. He gets the same response that he got from Arsenal fans at the time "good, but not good enough". So let's agree to disagree, and call it apples and oranges I guess.
