It ignored everything the franchise has built but the first 10 minutes of T1 so it's shit as a sequel, and even if viewed as a stand-alone reboot the story has so much time traveling that by the end of the movie the entire plot is literally impossible. I'm not talking from a scientific sense, I mean the plot was so poorly written that most everything that happens in it is made impossible by something else that happened in it.
