Germany charters fifth floating LNG terminal ,due to open by end of third quarter of 2023. It could supply up to 5% of total German gas consumption

I think it's wrong to on the one side, talk about how it's immoral to buy Russian gas and at the same time buy out the gas from countries which counted on it just because we have much much more money at our disposal. If we decided to go the high road of not buying Russian gas we should have been ready to deal with the consequences (because we made the mistake of making ourselves dependent on Russia).

And yes, Putin does't need German euros to fund his war. He has oil, manpower food and weapon-manufacturing capabilities within Russia and he controls the currency. Yes the "high-tech" weapon-man has been effected by the sanctions but the basics Russia can, sadly for us, produce on its own.
