Heat is my primary concern. We do have a lot of hawks also, which is why I am thinking about a larger breed. Trying to find a breed that will match up with all my requirements of heat, predators and my own sanity.

Oh...the hutch will have a wooden floor, so rabbits will not be able to dig while in their home...but I don't mind them digging when they are let out to roam.

I do have a few plants that I need to remove.
