I bought afew daiwa revros combos from bcf for $120 each afew months ago just to have some spare light combos for the boat and For the price your not going to find a better rod and reel combo, the reels have 10kg in drag even in the little 2500 size and are nice and smooth and the rods are made from carbon fibre.

If you are planning on lure fishing in estuarys for your bream and flathead I would suggest the 2500 combo spooled with 6lb braid and for bait fishing the 3000 size with a low stretch 10lb mono.

Then for terminal tackle any of the pre packaged tackle kits for bream, flathead, etc are inexpensive and have everything you should need.
