Getting into the Spectre Royal World Premiere and After Party with Fake Tickets

I will 100% guarantee this is fake. I also suspect it's actually Uber doing some guerrilla marketing. I seem to be the only one that's using there critical thinking hat this morning! Here's my case:

  • He's not at the world premiere, he's at a publicly accessible premier "event". What's the difference? This event offers tickets to the public for around 50 quid. /u/96mn12 posted about it in the /r/video thread and even included a picture for proof. Furthermore I was a movie reviewer from 06-09 that went to countless true premiere events. A movie like Spectre would have a press-lineup for questions. Not here! They'd also have EVERYONE INVOLVED IN PRODUCING THE DAMN MOVIE! Not a couple of b-actors I recognized but couldn't possibly name. While this is an even that might have a photog or two I'd hazard a guess that the real thing is much more chaotic and has an innumerable number of credentialed press folks. The event isn't "bad", hell I'd got to it if I could, and it's not too terribly over-priced. This douche-canoe uses chop-cuts and plays off ignorance to make it seem like an exclusive event. Notice how he videos his shoes as he walks up? If you actually saw the whole red carpet area it'd be obvious this even it much smaller than he makes it seem.

  • Finally The most obvious reason being that this is fraud, and very much illegal in the UK (and pretty much everywhere), as this Met Police document shows they absolutely prosecute for ticket fraud of any kind. He would be an absolute idiot to post well-documented video proof of himself in the act on YouTube. Further, the idea that his local print shop had absolutely no problem whipping up a couple of counterfeits for him is again totally beyond reality. We're supposed to believe they knowingly went along with printing up fraudulent tickets and also ignore the trademarked logos and design (admittedly I don't know what the exact laws in the UK are regarding IP protection, but I know they exist, and I know they're enforced!)? Not only do they have the proper ticket printing equipment to match the events (we never get a good look at his supposed issue

  • As far as my speculation that this is just a guerilla marketing ad for Uber, that whole segment doesn't need to exist, wh at all in the video is it there? why does he need to use UberLux from literally a 1/4 mile away. Finally the drive is ound of the ard. Smart movee... thitem em at the bar.

my Nyquil kicked in right as I got grooving I know this post has several glaring mistakes but it has been a nearly impossible struggle to stay awake... I'm physiacllyready to pass out... I'll add more to this tomorrow but my train of thought is totally out the window.
