GNU LibreJS 6.0.10 released

LibreJS is a Mozilla add-on that prevents nonfree JavaScript programs from running in your web browser.

...

Okay? I already run NoScript and UBlock Origin and all that shit...there isn't an abundance of websites that just get to run arbitrary code in my browser without my approval.

Throwing dogmatic, philosophical, and other concerns on top of a non-issue like this is like hiring a taxidermist to improve upon the pig you just skinned and ate - it is an afterthought with the tools available that we use on a daily basis.

Here's MY complaint - what the fuck happened to webdesign and international standards to the point that I have to allow some shit-ass website to use Javascript on my machine just to deliver a fucking 600-character blurb of text?

What the fuck happened to web design and the whole KISS rule?

I mean, it'd be a bit on the severely dated side, but I'm reasonably sure I don't need javascript or even CSS to display a 600x1200 column of text that looks tolerably good and expands to things like widescreen monitors like I now, finally have.

And that's something you fucktard webdesigners should care about now - particularly since you're the first line against tyranny here in the US when it comes to using mobile phones as a constant link to the Interwebs.

This thing, though? I see little use in it. These motherfuckers are so hell-bent on cult-like isolation that we ought to donate Kool-Aid for the eventual failure of their philosophy.

Look, running their stuff doesn't fucking matter. It makes you feel good like a Starbucks Venti Latte with three extra shots of flavor and go-juice.

It does jack shit to connect their philosophies to the Real World.

So...whatever. I've been ignoring a lot of shit that you kids are getting hung-the-fuck-up-on-now, and people like this advocating moving to their version of Valinor ain't helping either.

(I'm still pissed off about the commenters over the TuxCart thing going "LET'S MOVE IT TO STEAM NAOW!" - what the fuck? ... Guess I'll have to evolve a bit there too.
