The KTM is a comparable bike the Husky is different. The KTM is a higher performance bike stock and does not have the flame out issues, but they are pretty close and the KTM is about 3k more. Also, Honda is legendary for their tough long lasting motors, so it is likely to last longer and I think it has a little easier maintenance schedule. The Honda is also significantly heavier. With 2k worth of mods the Honda could probably be right on par with KTM performance wise and still cheaper., but probably still heavier. You could even just ride the Honda stock, maybe turn up the idle and be very close in performance with a pretty significant money savings. This is a very subjective topic so there isn’t a clear winner, but if you are looking for a capable dirt bike with a plate either one of these bikes are an excellent choice. The Husky is more of an Adventure bike and not a true dirt bike although it is very capable off road.
