The good ol days.

So teams thought they were good but weren't.

Rodgers beat teams that weren't good.

But Rodgers also dominated a good division?

How could Rodgers dominate a good division of the test in the division turned out to be bad?

Look if you're trying to argue that fans said their teams were good in the moment, great. You got it, fans want their teams to be good and cheer them on and talk them up.

If the fans end up being wrong, that's not really hypocrisy.

You can't have it both ways, either the teams in the division were bad despite the fans trying to convince themselves they were good, meaning Rodgers beat no one, or the teams in the division were good.

It's not hard to understamd or contradictory.
