Rant:

Dortmund’s problem is perpetually buying less that great (but good) footballers, outside of young talents. Players like Hazard are good, but not good enough to beat Bayern. Until Dortmund can buy some world class players every few years, Bayern will continue to dominate. Dortmund is great for players like Haaland and Sancho, but those guys will move on in a couple years. They don’t care about Dortmund. Dortmund is a stepping stone for the bigger clubs because Dortmund gives young players a chance.

Until Dortmund mans the fuck up, Dortmund will continue to do good but fall short of anything worth remembering. I truly wish the best for BVB, but this is a failing strategy.
