Such a strong familiarity, like he felt like home and I needed to know him, like my brain just went, 'Oh. There you are." I didn't approach him when everyone else was, but he sought me out after things died down, and the first thing he said was, 'Have we met somewhere before?' (We had, but it was like 15 years ago and in passing. Neither of us remembered at that point.)
