We had 6 cats... We now have 5. I don't think I've ever posted about Smokey, but, uh, here's an old photo of him being the perfect loaf... 10/31/18-12/28/20.

I know the title isn't super dramatic, but trust me, it hurt.

Bout 2 weeks before this, he started urinating under one of our beds constantly. In hindsight, we should've just taken him to a vet immediately after the second go, because that was not normal... This went on for about a week, after which not much happened for a few days.

4 days ago, he started vomiting constantly, trying to drink also-constantly and just vomiting it all back up, and he literally would not eat anything. On the second day of this, he was vomiting white foam and barely even moving.

Yesterday, we put him in a small box with a blanket underneath, because he was literally falling asleep in the water bowl. He did not leave that box since, and moved even less.

Flash forward to about 2 hours ago, we'd moved him out into the open so we could all comfort him, because he literally could not move at all, just breathe and look at us if we happened to come into his view.

40 minutes ago, and... Yeah, he stopped breathing. That was just it.

It's really not a good thing to wake up to, at all.
