details : a stray cat was waking around meowing outside my house late at night in the rain she was walking around meowing and immedietly walked up to me and was rubbing against my legs and purrring i squated down to pet her and she jumped in my lap and laid down although i did pick her up and place her off me because i noticed her skin was in poor condition. she kept pawing at my door and wanting me to let her inside but i didn’t because i have a dog & don’t know the cat. i fed her some tuna which she ate quickly then went inside and threw my clothes in the wash and took a shower right away because i’m allergic to cats already lol. just felt bad for her cuz she seemed hungry and lonely. after i felt concerned about rabies because she was still walking around meowing and because of the condition of her skin, and overly friendly demeanor which i read can be “dumb rabies”
