I would say male friend, that has either been domesticated or is a kitten. I have had cats my entire life. The males generally always got along. I had 4 cats at one time and there was a female cat, who, even though they were all desexed, was semi feral and spent all of her time in hiding from the boys. In hindsight, I'd say get to know your cat a bit and introduce tgem from between rooms. Keep the other cat in the hallway as long as you can to pique curiosity. If not, the new cat will either be told where he stands by the other cat or there can be a power struggle. It really does help to keep them separated at least a few days and get to smellveach other enough to be curious to meet.

That said, I wish id have not brought the 2 new boy cats around my semi feral female. They were kittenscand she was appalled. I know cats a little better now. Just my humble experience.
