This reminds me of my dog that will be put down in 8ish hours do to his declining health and age, he was losing the ability to eat hard food so we switched him over to soft canned food maybe 6ish months ago, so when it came to feeding them the other dog ran right into his bed and we gave him his hard food and closed the gate, the other one would get demanding and start barking because his food wasnt there yet, we would prep it and get it on a small plate and he would do a demanding yap until we put it down in its spot, but since hes such a little dog every time he went to take a bite he would move the plate a bit, by the time he was done his food his plate would be 10 feet from where you left it. I am gonna miss the little bugger :(
