How is 2 dudes kissing comparable to teaching kids about sexuality and gender identity? It used to be 'Oh teach your kids that it's good to be straight and cisgender that's what you should do' and now it's 'Oh teach your kids that it's good to be gay and transgender that's what you should do' like you realize this isn't getting us anywhere? Liberals see that first message as homophobic hate speech, and that second message as uplifting positivity for our youth. Conservatives see that first message as good for our youth as it has been, and see that second message as a terrible idea you're implanting into impressionable minds that could change how the world works drastically. Is it so hard to see that these are the same message, and we shouldn't see either of them in a good or bad light? We should teach kids what's important and let them figure out their identity when they're mature enough to do so.
