Here’s what I’m thinking about in regards of new games this year

BDSP isn’t exactly what gen 4 fans wanted though.

BDSP is more of a monkey’s paw situation, in my opinion. Sure I wanted a gen 4 remake but not like...this. It’s literally just the original DP in high definition with Gen 8 mechanics. That’s it. It’s not bad, just average. It’s also full of very questionable choices, like omitting everything nice added in Platinum while deliberately keeping everything from DP exactly the same, even all the flaws. And it is also missing some stuff from the originals like secret bases, better contests, and of course, the GWS.

After HGSS and ORAS, people can’t get mad at gen 4 fans for expecting more. With that said, I think PLA is pretty good and for me makes up for what BDSP is. I just hope the future remakes return to being actual remakes and not just remasters.
